House Rules and Expectations:


This list provides practical, everyday guidelines designed to promote mutual respect and consideration for one another. These expectations are in place to protect our home and ensure the well-being of its current members and all future members. Some of these rules may seem challenging at first, but they are essential for maintaining a harmonious living environment. Note that violations of these rules will result in the termination of the agreement.

Guests & Overnights

  • No overnight guests or sexual activity allowed. Guests must be supervised at all times, and no active users are permitted.

Medications

  • Medications must not be shared and should be kept out of view.

Respect & Cleanliness

  • Respect others’ space and belongings; no theft or misuse. Keep all areas clean, maintain hygiene, label food, and leave room for others. Complete all assigned chores.

Meetings & Chores

  • Attendance at meetings is required when scheduled. Chores rotate weekly and include common areas such as kitchen, bathroom, trash, and outside. Fines apply for missed meetings or incomplete chores.

Conduct & Noise

  • Keep noise to a reasonable level; quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Positive interaction is expected. Disruptive behavior, violence, or relapse will lead to termination.

Utilities & Shared Resources

  • Turn off electronics when not in use. Thermostat must stay between 65–70°F. Not following utility rules may increase rent. Use laundry and dishwasher only between 7 AM and 9 PM according to schedule.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Rent is due on the 1st and considered late after the 3rd, with a $30 daily late fee. If unpaid by the 5th at 1 PM, the agreement is terminated and immediate move-out is required.

Shed Access

  • The shed on the property is strictly off-limits and must not be entered or used at any time.

No Pets Allowed

  • To maintain cleanliness and comfort for all residents, pets are not permitted on the property.
  • Exception: A small fish tank (with small fish only) is allowed in your personal room. The tank must be kept clean at all times to avoid odors or maintenance issues.

Smoking & Vaping

  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the home. You may smoke or vape outside in designated areas. Please dispose of waste responsibly.

Washer Use

  • Only use the Speed Wash cycle for regular laundry.
  • Exception: Bedding may be washed on a suitable cycle.
  • Be courteous—remove your clothes immediately after the cycle ends so other residents can use the machines without delay.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling Schedule

  • Pickup Days:
    • Mondays: Trash and recycling
    • Thursdays: Trash only
  • Place all bins by the curb the night before pickup. Keep the area clean and lids secured.

No Car Washing

  • Washing cars on the property is not allowed to help maintain the property and conserve water.

Safety & Drug Policy

  • Firearms are strictly prohibited on the property.
  • Random drug testing may be conducted at any time and is mandatory before move-in.
  • Smoking is not allowed inside the home.

Conflict Resolution & Emergencies

  • Handle conflicts respectfully. If issues cannot be resolved, report them to the House Supervisor or CEO.
  • Violence, threats, theft, or harassment will result in termination and police involvement.

Relocation & Termination

  • A 30-day notice is required before moving out.
  • There are no refunds for early departure or rent paid in advance. Community fees are non-refundable.

Security Camera Policy

  • By residing on this property, you acknowledge that security cameras are installed and actively recording video and audio in common areas only, both inside and outside the premises.
  • These cameras are for the safety and security of all residents and staff.
  • Tampering with the security system is strictly prohibited. You may not disconnect, unplug, cover, or remove any camera, Wi-Fi, or related equipment unless you have explicit written permission from the CEO, House Supervisor, or Property Manager.
  • Violations may result in immediate termination of residency or other disciplinary action.

Acknowledgement of House Rules

  • By residing in this home, you agree to comply with all current house rules.
  • Rules are subject to change at any time, with or without prior notice. Continued residence constitutes agreement to all updates or additions.
